God appoints a widow in Elijah’s story to display His character and power. Even in the hardest circumstances in our lives, we see God is in control, He is greater than our idols and desires our faith to be placed in Him.
We welcome you to gather with us and grow in community with us at Harvest Bible Chapel. Check out our second sermon in our series Elijah: How Long Will You Waver? from 1 Kings 17:8-16 entitled The Bigger and Better God.

We seek to have "A Right Relationship to God and Riches." God does not condemn wealth, but he gives instruction to use our material blessings for Kingdom purposes.
In concluding our series On The Money, we reflect and respond faithfully to God’s instruction in 1 Timothy 6:17-19. The mission of the Kingdom of God matters the most.

Although it looks a long way off, the Master will return to settle accounts.
What we have is from our Master. It’s supposed to be used for His interests.
How we use what we’ve been given depends largely on how we view the Giver.

Happy Easter! “But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay,” Matthew 28:5-6 Christ has risen! Good Friday, we saw Jesus absorb the punishment of death and absolve us of our shame. In His resurrection, we have Jesus' power and life. Opening to Matthew 28:1-10, we see the first witnesses of the Resurrection go to the tomb. See how we see these truths: The Resurrection is True The Resurrection is Powerful The Resurrection is Physical Just as he promised, Jesus came to give us salvation. He is alive. We invite you to come to Jesus, believe His story, and live in light of His Resurrection! #hbcchicagoeaster Join us for worship at our gathering times and locations: Saturday Service 5:00 PM | Rolling Meadows Sunday Services 9:00 AM | Crystal Lake and Aurora 10:00 AM | Rolling Meadows, Elgin, Chicago Cathedral, and North Shore 11:00 AM | Crystal Lake and Aurora Online Service is available at 10:00 AM central time on Sundays on our website and YouTube channel.
